weekly Photo Challenge
This week’s challenge is “Frames”. I remembered when my son was in 4-H photography a few years ago, that framing was part of composition. I believe that framing referred to having a distinct foreground and that could be one or more objects. With that in mind, I went through my past photos and wanted to find something I haven’t posted yet. I came upon my day trip to Niagara Falls. It was supposed to be for gambling , but for me it was all about seeing the Falls again, this time from the American side. It was a beautiful day last October.

I’m probably stretching the rules a bit here, but I really just wanted to show my pictures.

Great pics. Me too…love the one with the rainbow!!
nice photos , nicely framed.
Stretch away!! Fantastic photos.
These photos are absolutely beautiful. I love the rainbows.
You ignited a desire within me to see the Niagara falls
yes, framing is very important in developing the composition of a photo because pictures are always in 2D. Therefore, far-off vistas and spectacular views will seem far less dramatic unless a closer reference point is presented in the photograph.
and those are some really cool pictures
and ryc: I am quite flattered (I prefer things the old fashioned way anyways)
Absolutely beautiful! I too want to go visit the falls .. from both sides of the border.
