  • Roger has been in school for nearly a week now.  I’m not sure what
is happening, but he seems to irritate me at the drop of a hat
nowadays.  He keeps telling me how to drive, live, breathe,
etc.  Nevermind the fact I’ve been managing just fine without his
advice for the past 46 years.  Don’t get me wrong, it hasn’t been
constant bickering, but flareups have been more regular this past
week.  Probably nerves on his part and old-age crankiness on my
    part.  Oh well.

Last Tuesday Roger and his girlfriend, Ali, as well as my sister-in-law
and her two daughters accompanied me to Cleveland to the Rock Hall
of  Fame.  Rog, Ali and I went to see the BodyWorks 2 display
at the Great Lakes Science Center.  It was great.  They take
real bodies and plasticize them in different poses after dissecting
them.  It doesn’t appeal to everyone, but I found it greatly
interesting.  If Anatomy and Physiology interest you, you really
should try to catch this display.  It is on view at the Science
Center until Sept. 8, then it moves on to another city.

Then we went next door to join the neighbors at the rock hall.
That was great fun.  I enjoyed it greatly.  I liked the
movies that were shown. The building is beautiful architecturally,
too.  That I.M. Pei is a genious. We had lunch there, too.
It was fairly inexpensive compared to other attractions and it was
delicious.  Or I was just too hungry.

We had so much fun that the neighbors and I have decided to try to have
a similar outing once every month or so.  Pittsburgh next.
Carolyn, my niece, will graduate after this school year then will
probably go off to college in some far off city so we’ve got to make
some more memories this year.  (To go along with previous concert
memories and being “lost in the big city” )

Work(s) have been good these past weeks.  I really do enjoy what I do.

Here are some pics from our outing.

I am going to try to make a new entry every day.  Wish me luck.

  • I want to go there someday!  Hope all is well with you and yours…….thanks for the prayers and thoughts for me son….

Cheer up….we all get irritated with our teenage boys at time…..I remember……thats why I have to dye my hair!  lol

Take care and God bless you all……..good luck trying to post everyday!!!!

  • Those were very nice pictures, thanks so much for sharing them. Perhaps your boy is at that stage where he is learning to become a man. That is where they try to break away from their mom for awhile and establish who they are. They will bicker with us at a drop of a hat, almost kinda like ummm tell us what to do like a hubby might try.LOL They don’t mean no harm, just is their way of trying to grow up and be an individual. Sure is nice to hear from you again. Have a nice Tuesday.

  • It does get better but sons will allways be a son.

and to this day my son will do something to drive me crazy.

take care and God bless you

  • Anatomy and Physiology…UGH! I’m taking that class this semester. *pulls out hair* VERY cute pictures, too!! Hope things look up between you and Roger soon AND I hope to see YOU very soon!

  • Thank your for prayers..Loved the pics about your outing.  Awesome.  Ay I told my kids once …”So glad I gave birth to you or where the heck would I be..duh”  lol.   Just a normal life cycle is all.  It sucks at times… but then we smile and note that they are finally growing up enough to notice that life can be dangerous.  lol. much love to ya.

  • Looks like a great outting! I would love to see the Body Works display. Sounds awsome!

You will enjoy your visit to Pittsburgh…The only real problem is that all the roads through the city run “one way” and it never seems to be the way you want to go! LOL! The museum of natural history is amazing…it is connected to the museum of art and a special Andy Warhol (sp??) collection as well. Make sure to go to “The Point” and if it’s a hot day you can feel free to walk right into the fountain! Everyone does. Let me know how you like “Da Burgh”!

  • I can’t wait for the plastination exhibit to come my way! I saw a documentary about it on tv and thought it was fascinating.

Thanks for your kind words and have a lovely day!
